how long until I burn out

man it’s so hard not to miss classes. when I wake up exhausted and know I need more sleep, it’s really hard to force myself to go to a class where I know all the material.

My main goal is to stay alive. To keep fooling myself into hanging around. To keep getting up every day. Right now I live without inspiration. I go day to day and do the work because it’s all I know. I know that if I keep moving I stand a chance. I must keep myself going until I find a reason to live. I need one so bad. On the other hand maybe I don’t. Maybe it’s all bullshit. Nothing I knew from my old life can help me here. Most of the things that I believed turned out to be useless. Appendages from someone else’s life.

Everything I have I would give to not know what I know. To not feel emptiness as my constant companion. To not look into this room and be reminded why I’m in it. I’m not getting enough air. The room feels so small all of a sudden. It’s pathetic to be this lonely and know it. To keep breathing. To be silent and alone. And to know.

UGH I need to clean my god damn apartment but I haven’t had the energy at all. Every time I go to lab I feel exhausted by the end of it. I sleep, I wake up, I still feel tired. No matter how much I sleep I still feel tired.

School is exhausting, lab is exhausting, living is exhausting.

Every time I’ve talked to a doctor about it they always say its my depression.

Herp derp you mean that thing I haven’t been able to treat for half my life?

I hate acting like I’m not still in recovery. Talking to healthy people is weird.

Yeah it’s totally school that’s making me feel so tired, yeah. I don’t have any chronic disorder that makes me tired. Yeah I’m totally not tired from dealing with hours of anxiety and hypervigilance too.

if anybody asks me why i hate men, i’m just gonna redirect them to this post.
it’s pretty fucking obvious that men only want to invest in breast cancer research to further degrade, objectify, and jerk off to body parts they already feel 100% entitled to. that’s what is at stake for them.
what about the women whose “tatas” weren’t saved? how must they feel being surrounded by awareness ads that focus more on keeping women’s sexy-sexy-titties-to-continue-titillating-the-males than saving real life human beings and helping survivors?

If anyone’s wondering, those posts came from here. It’s a forum for breast cancer support. Give it a read, and you’ll see how many women are outright abandoned by their husbands, sometimes after being married for decades, because their “tatas” couldn’t be saved.
